Reviews
Initially I intend to buy at Popular but since nobody is available to answer my questions I step out and proceed to Challenger.
I needed a laptop with specific features. Wei Hong did a great job on helping me decide which unit to purchase, he repeatedly and emphasized pro and con of models I shortlisted. Keep up the good work.thank you for your assistance
The manager and the staff there were great. Helped me out a lot on the products I wanted to buy. Honestly, should give them a raise!
They don't even supply a bag for a $1500 purchase! You have to buy a bag, which has their branding all over it. So, you buy from them, and then advertise for them.
Their loyalty program is a credit system. Ie, you get to use the credit if you purchase the next item. And you have to pay to enroll in the loyalty program, which expires after a time.
The program costs $30. You need to spend about $1500 to break even. The whole thing feels like a scam.
I will never step into their outlets again. And you should not either.
Staff were polite.
The Challenger in Northpoint is consider average size, the rows are spaced neatly and within their category so things are easier to find. There are lesser random items eg cable management in this challenger compared to others
Today, I visited a mall near the Yishun subway station, which might be the most complex mall I have ever encountered, with a layout resembling a labyrinth. Initially, I stumbled upon an electronics store, but after having a meal on the second floor, I couldn't find the store again no matter how hard I tried. I felt like I was caught in a sort of "ghost hitting wall" scenario, constantly moving between the second, third, and first floors, searching for elevators and escalators, yet never able to locate that electronics store. What struck me was the absence of any information signs in the mall, and to seek information, one had to queue up and take a number, which felt extremely inconvenient. This mall lacks automation, and the absence of design and information services could lead to significant confusion and frustration for customers. In such circumstances, finding a specific shop or location becomes exceedingly difficult, especially for first-time visitors like me. The design and information signage system in a mall should serve to assist customers in finding their desired destinations easily, rather than making them feel lost in a complicated layout. In large or intricately designed malls, a clear signage system and convenient information inquiry service are crucial, as they can significantly enhance the shopping experience for customers.
Staff was rude :( wanted to enquire about ps5 but she just shut me down with “no stock”
I rec'd outstanding sales recommendation (IT fair Mar 23) & after-sales svc fr staff Melvin (Yishun). Knowledgeable, patient, kind & helpful. Settled my non computer savvy problems. Makes whole purchase experience happy and productive.
Staff are quite helpful. Recommended me an alternative earpiece brand within my budget and with similar functionalities to the one I was searching for but was sold out.
